OHAS Centre Facilities
Exhibition and Research Centre
In 1992, the Offaly Historical & Archaeological Society opened the Research Centre in a former wine warehouse building in Tullamore. The 8,000 square-foot centre contains an extensive library and photographic collection, maps and archive material, book shop and exhibition centre. In 1999, a new exhibition centre was opened to promote local studies, photography and painting. Here the Society’s monthly lectures are held.
